Fall 2007
Thane Hawkins is hired by Methven Family Vineyards to be assistant winemaker, while also making a small quantity of his own Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Hawkins Cellars is born.

2009 Pinot Gris wins Best of Show at the Bite of Oregon Wine Competition

Hawkins Cellars opens a tasting room in downtown Dundee

Thane Hawkins quits his job in computer graphic animation to focus exclusively on winemaking

Establish Cloud Cap vineyard on Underwood Mountain with planting of Pinot Noir vines

2011 Caldera Red wins Double Gold (94 points) at San Francisco Int’l Wine Competition

Celebrate our ten-year anniversary by opening a second tasting room at our estate location on Underwood Mountain

Amid the Gorge fires, harvest first crop of estate fruit from Cloud Cap and begin cellaring wine at Underwood location
