Pre-Memorial Weekend Case Sale Event
On May 20th and 21st We are hosting our annual Pre-Memorial Weekend Case Sale Event at both our Dundee and Underwood locations. We’ll have food and wine pairings, new releases and 20 to 30% off of any mixed case! We are heading into an incredibly exciting time for our small winery. On Pre-Memorial Weekend, we are opening our new tasting room in the Gorge for a special preview weekend before regular summer hours commence in June. After a lot of DIY work, we have transformed a daylight basement into a swanky tasting room, which spills out onto a great lawn offering amazing views of Mt. Hood and our small estate vineyard. We believe that Underwood is an area of untapped potential for growing cold climate varietals on par with the Willamette Valley (think Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Riesling), and we are really excited about the potential.

We will be releasing four new wines that we recently bottled up in Underwood. To accompany the wines we will have small bites, artisan cheeses and chocolates catered by local market Feast, as well as live music featuring local Underwood musicians. Here’s a bit about the new releases:
2016 Stormy Morning Rosé
This slightly off-dry Rosé of Pinot Noir has slightly less acidity and is a bit sweeter than prior versions.
2016 Barrel Select Viognier
Our signature white wine. With all those ripe melon characteristics, a wine that screams summer.
2015 Yakima Valley Reserve Syrah
Going out on a limb to say that it might eventually be the best Syrah yet. However, at 100 cases it won’t last long!
2015 Red Mountain Mourvedre
This will be in the June Club shipment, so don’t worry, everyone will have access to this bold red wine.
Underwood Address: 10401 Cook Underwood Road, Underwood, WA 98651
Getting There: From Highway 14, go north on Cook Underwood Road at the White Salmon River. We are 3.7 miles up Cook Underwood on the right hand side, about 1/4 mile past the intersection with Kollock Knapp Road.

In addition to releasing the aforementioned Stormy Morning Rosé, we are happy to announce the release of our 2014 Pinot Noir from the Eola Amity Hills AVA. While 2014 was one of the hottest years on record, we managed to keep our Pinot nicely in balance, without being jammy and possessing all the earthy characteristics of a great Oregon Pinot Noir.
We’ll be pairing our reds, whites and Rosé with a savory tasting menu:
- Salmon, Lemon Zest, and Crème Fraîche Tostini
- Crimini Mushroom Risotto
- Pulled Pork Sliders
- Cheeses and Charcuterie
