2013 Eola-Amity Hills Pinot Noir
Cozy up to this Pinot Noir from the Eola-Amity Hills AVA and experience a head-on collision between earth and fruit. Fragrant wafts of ripe strawberry draw you in along with vanilla and a peaty, woody aroma reminiscent of freshly cut bark dust. The intense tart cherry and strawberry flavors hit the palette, only to be matched by the earthy notes of cedar and tobacco. The tannins, while robust in their youth, will mellow with age, providing an age-worthy wine for those who can resist its youthful charms.
